Visible blue light is defined as light within a wavelength range from 380 to 500 nanometers Because the wavelengths of blue light are shorter in the visible spectrum blue light can pass through our crystalline lens and penetrate our eyes, which can cause eye problems. Excessive exposure of blue light to our eyes will damage the photoreceptors of the macula and deteriorate our eyesight. This can result in serious problems such as Cataract and Macular Degeneration. To protect our eyes from the exposure of excessive blue light firstly we should keep proper distance from the computer screen. Moreover, we can now choose a computer with Less Blue Light and Anti-Flicker technology which helps our eyes to feel more relaxed and comfortable.
